Pastor Roger Hendon
In 1993, Roger Hendon began full-time ministry as an Associate Pastor in Birmingham, Alabama, serving in Children’s, Music, and Pastoral Care ministries. In time, the Lord called Roger back to his hometown of Jasper with a vision to establish a church built on the uncompromised Word of God. In 2005, that vision became a reality as Grace Family Church was established with a small group of faithful believers and a passion for the Grace of Christ. Today, Pastors Roger and Dana Hendon continue to fulfill that God-given mandate: helping people establish their hearts in Grace and Faith and discover the transforming power of the Gospel of Christ—“the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes.”

What We Believe
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and His revelation to mankind.
One God
We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God revealed in the flesh.
Salvation
We believe humanity was separated from God through sin, and that redemption is found only through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation is God’s free gift, received by grace through faith in Jesus and His finished work—not by our own works.
Water Baptism & Communion
We believe water baptism is an outward expression of a believer’s identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe Communion is a remembrance of His broken body and shed blood, through which He provided forgiveness and healing.
The Holy Spirit
We believe every believer can receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit—a powerful, subsequent experience to the new birth that equips us to be witnesses for Christ.
Our Mission
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, commissioned to preach the Gospel and continue the works of Jesus throughout the earth.

We believe Jesus Christ is coming again, just as He promised.
